Phase 2 Play park installation going well!

Installation of Phase 2 of the play park is going really well. As you can see below, all of the new equipment bases have been installed and the safety surface has been poured. Full installation of the play items will take place in the next week or so and then we'll need to protect the safety surface edges with soil and turf. How quickly we can do that is weather and volunteer dependent but we hope to do this at the end of November. We'll open Phase 2 as soon as possible but you'll appreciate we need to give the soil and turf chance to settle before it can take the heavy footfall we know it will attract. Meanwhile, Phase 1 will remain open.
