We are well on our way to delivering a new inclusive play area. Until then, come and enjoy our informal play area and swings.
The need for new children's play facilities was one of the biggest drivers for us to purchase the park from the Highland Council. The old park was small and most of the equipment had been removed and not replaces as it fell into disrepair. However, until we deliver the new park (more below) there's still plenty for kids to do.

Access
Please try to travel to the park by foot or cycle if you are able. Parking is available at the Community Centre/School car park, but please be aware this car park will be busy during term-time, especially 8:45:9:15 and 14:45-15:15. There is a bus stop at the SW corner of the park. From late July 2022 the park will have a fully accessible path network that is cycle and wheelchair friendly. There are no toilet facilities on-site but these can be found in the Community Center (when open and for a small donation), and in the village square. We have not provided litter bins on the assumption you will be happy to minimize and take home your own litter - thank you :)

Future plans
High quality all inclusive play areas are essential for any community. We are committed to delivering facilities appropriate for a village with over 1,200 residents and a primary school catering for about 200 children. We obtained planning permission for our new park in 2020, obtained funding and delivered drainage and play area base in 2021, and will install an all-ability path network in July 2022. All we have to do now is raise fund for the play equipment and safety surface (expensive but we'll get there!).
