Strathpeffer is surrounded by many miles of forest tracks and trails, and home to the famous Strathpuffer cycle race!

We have started to develop a short cycle track, in collaboration with Highland Trail Riders (HTR) who provide the skills and experience we need to deliver a first-class facility. Our ambition is to provide a cycle zone that provides for all ages and abilities.

The first phase, installed in September 2023, worked with specialist local bike track contractor Ronan Taylor to upgrade the existing track and build a series of jumps for all abilities between the bottom of the existing track and the path, along with an upgrade of the existing trail. It looks amazing and is now OPEN!! Thank you to EDF Foundation Scotland (Strathpeffer), The Dutchess of Westminster Fund and Ben Wyvis Cycle Club for sponsoring this work.

Phase 2 will require additional funding but will deliver an amazing 'pump track' circuit. Please get in touch if you would like to donate towards this local facility, or directly via our Just Giving page.
