Unfortunately before we took community ownership of the park all but two play park items had to be removed because they'd reached the end of their safe life. But, while we secure funds for our exciting new inclusive children's play park we will provide temporary DIY facilities such as these wonderful tractor tyres kindly donated and delivered by Dingwall Tyres and installed by our hard-working community volunteers. Volunteers have also made a start on an entry-level bike track, the first of our cycle-zone attractions. We'll let you know when this is complete and ready to ride.

We are absolutely delighted to announce that purchase of our park into community ownership is now complete. This is a huge milestone for us and opens up so many possibilities.
Community volunteers have already started work on the site to clear it of litter and get the hedge and vegetation under control. Your SRA board members are now hard at work securing the additional funding required to deliver this exciting and rejuvenating project. Watch this space and follow us on our Facebook page. We are delighted to announce that we were recently granted full planning permission for the park, as per the plan below. This is an exciting step for us because it will make it much easier for us to access funding sources. We are making good progress with fundraising but still have a way to go. Your continued support is greatly appreciated!

Strathpeffer Residents' Association require the services of a professional project manager to deliver an exciting community park project in the village of Strathpeffer. Main tasks include 1) managing our planning permission application; 2) overseeing the purchase of the land through an approved Community Asset Transfer; 3) day to day management and coordination of contracts for drainage works, path network, and children's play park. We request a quote for the works detailed in the attached Invitation to Quote document where you will find all information relating to the tendering process. The successful contractor will be able to provide evidence of having successfully managed similar small infrastructure projects, experience of working with communities (excellent communication skills), ability to manage time flexibly, and have experience of the planning system. Please note that we have extended the submission deadline to 12:00 on Monday 3rd June.
